It's Over
"And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. Joshua 5

Joshua learned that God is on His own side and that Israel had better stay close.
America has made an irrevocable distance between we the people and Him.
Saturday March 29th Secretary of State Rice arrived in Israel to trample Israel's sovereignty some more to help set up the President's planned Islamic terrorist state in the heart of Israel.
Cut in pieces is the outcome ,the end of those who meddle with His Jerusalem policy.
The U.S. has chosen to get at the front of the line in this pay package from God.
I think we've grown too stupid to realize that we are tempting God in a very bad way with this agenda of ours we're forcing down Israel's throat and this is a big reason why things are getting real bad real fast for us in Iraq and at home with our economy.
The pile of troubles will grow to unbearable heights.
Zechariah 12:3
Nay ! No Way !
No help coming from Jesus, the Lord of Armies on our fools errand in Iraq and now Iran.
In fact He has set us in Babylon for our fall.
Babylon has from ancient times up to now been tied to God's judgment of His errant, rebellious children.
A full circle ,Israel tasted and now we.
We're about to learn in a big way that God is no longer with this nation.
Time has run out.
It's going to hit many unexpectedly and hard as they have been living in a dream world.
He has lovingly and patiently waited for us to return to Him to no avail.
Now things will go from bad to worse.
The double standard we have imposed on Israel in dealing with terrorists and our restraint. Our hypocrital outcry when children/civilians are killed because the Palestinian terrorists hide and fire on Israel from behind women and children while we do much worse to civilians in Iraq,Afghanistan and Serbia has not gone unnoticed by the righteous Judge.
We restrained Israel from dealing a death blow to Hamas as they impudently fire kassems on Sderot ,now our 'green zone' in Baghdad is no longer safe from the same. It's no coincidence.
It does not look good for our soldiers in Iraq on a fools errand.

We are aware of reports of incidents in the Basra area resulting in civilian casualties. We are investigating the reports and do not have any further details at this time," Holloway said.
The U.S. military said Saturday it was investigating reports that a coalition warplane fired on a home in western Basra and killed several civilians....
Several U.S. officials told CNN on Friday that the Iraqi military push is not going as well as American officials had hoped....
At least 40 Iraqi national police in Baghdad have deserted and joined the Mehdi Army militia led by Mookie al Sadist, taking their U.S.-supplied weapons with them, according to an Iraqi Interior Ministry official
I have had a deep forboding in my spirit for several months; it really started when President Bush sent Sec. Rice over on her last trip several months ago. She compared the Palestinian situation with the Civil Rights movement in the USA.
ReplyDeleteI cannot shake this feeling of disaster about to befall us. It has sunken itself deep within my spirit.
The government and media are doing all they can to hide the facts from the American public. I feel those in the know have already taken as much as they can from the people and are prepared to ride out the storm; but this storm will not end.
We are citizens of another place; this is the opportunity for us individually to show our neighbors and friends in Whom we really trust.

Nobody's listening ,they have ignored all the warnings.
ReplyDeleteFamily, They mock and laugh and call me crazy.
They run away not wanting to soil their filthy ears with the truth as they might have to change their ways.
Now the perilious times ,the suffering begin in an even greater cresendo.
The cashier at walmart was cutting out cupons finding it more difficult to support her children as rising prices eat away at her shrinking income.
Woe unto them who give suck is what Jesus warned ,but few if any are hearing.
They're glued to the wide road which leads to destruction and not moving.
Our society, like Esau of old, despise our birthright; a Godly heritage going back several hundred years. The founders of this nation were fleeing persecution from the established church. They were strong believers in the ingathering of Israel at some future date. They recognized that God controled the nations. For the most part, they were God fearing men.
ReplyDeleteHere we are today, like Esau, (even the church) despising our birthright for instant gratification; a bowl of soup, RIGHT NOW! The despise walking according to the dictates of a holy God; "to much trouble" it "takes too long to achieve results" and "that is just your opinion" when one points to Scripture in black and white which gives direction.
When we purchase a home, we want an immedaite $50,000 line of credit. When we go through the drive through, we want our sandwich ready before we give our order. When we commit to fight a war we want it to be won and withdraw in one month or less.
When we go to church we want a 20 minute ditty that will make us feel good and get us through the week. When we feel ill we want a drug immediately to ease the discomfort.
But Scripture says that "those who WAIT UPON THE LORD shall renew their strength, they will mount up on wings as eagles..."
We say, WAIT? I want it NOW!!
It has been established before the earth was created that nothing comes immediately, nothing of substance, anyway.
Gold is not mined from the earth as a wedding ring or a necklace; it goes through a process of digging, refining, burning, selection and great smelting.
Precious jewels come from deep within the earth where it has been formed over the ages, some estimate millions of years.
The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts. (Proverbs 17:3)
Yet we want to be "precious stones" in the signet ring of our Father in heaven? No refining, no heat, no smothering in the elements, no refining process? I do not think so!
We want it NOW!
It will not happen. He is God; He changes NOT.
Our whole Western culture is crumbling down around us. For a small bowl of instant gratification we have dispised our birthright and inheritance.
Those of us who know the routine and the ways of God and that submit ourselves to His ways will shine as the stars in this time of turmoil. We must allow Him to work His graces in us to catch the multitide the enemy is seeking to destroy for all eternity. We must point to the Son of God and pray that He extends His forgiveness to the masses who will be in total confusion and dispair.
As King David of old chose his method of judgment, either war, or pestilence or let God chose, David chose God because He shows mercy in judgment. He is not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to eternal life.
The over 300 million Americans who will be devestated by judgment from the Almighty, as they awake from the deep darkness and stupor which our society, the merchantizers and marketers have seduced them, will either chose God or destruction.
God loved Jacob, He hated Esau; the spirit of instant gratification. God, give us Jacob's spirit! A spirit that is willing to wrestle and fight, even an angel, for the spiritual inheritance You have promised us through our forefathers.
Dear Father, work your graces deep within my soul and in judgment, remember mercy.

Thank you for that timely word
ReplyDeleteAs a nation we have been seduced by this spirit.
We are now slaves and no longer free ,only the snared majority do not know this yet.

They've already made their choice haven't they ?
I don't think the mission field here will be that great in number.
I see it as more a time of judgment where God's mercy is not as great as it once was.
We have abused and trifled His mercy to the point of our peril.
It's a different time now.
Of course I know/understand God's mercy but once the door was shut on Noah's Ark it didn't open up to the crys of those who repented too late.
The same for Israel in Jeremiah's day and in Sodom and Gomorrah.
There comes a time when God no longer hears our too late prayers.
I found this interesting article this morning and here's a small portion from it.

By the way; it never occurred to me to put it into a web browser, but see what happens when you click on www.usconstitition.gov or www.billofrights.gov. Nothing! Is this some kind of a hint? Is the outcome already assured?

I've chosen with my wife to live in a remote part of East Texas because of the spirit of the place. We don't have credit card debt, and we have voluntarily eschewed the 'flash and bling' media pimped lifestyle based on debt and excessive personal consumption. In a word, we've tried to 'unplug' from the mainstream a bit. No texting, no long commute, no twice weekly trips to big-name department stores, fewer prepared foods. Instead, we have a garden, raise a few animals, and pay our taxes.
The people out here are more 'real' than citified folks. The idea that a person's value is implicit in his vehicle, clothes, brand of cell phone even, well, that's just patently absurd. Strangely, with enough media hype, exactly that kind of thinking seems to prevail in many urban areas, though. We've decided to voluntarily downscale.

So the Banker's Revolution begins Monday and the choice is simple:
We can take the easy way which means more government and a furtherance of the recent price fixing in markets...I'm sorry; maintenance of market stability. Come to the great casino, no losers here. Good times, but more regulations, less freedom of choice and a bigger and meaner Big Brother. Did someone over there lose? Well, you just chip in and pay for their losses. The house will keep a share for its hard work, of course.
Or, we can take the hard path and limit bankers, contain government, hold greedy speculators accountable, and let the markets clean themselves. And if we make bad choices, we will live with those. Hard times for a while, but 30% interest rates can be beaten back to 8%, states can legislate usury, and the wealthy elite 'ruling class' can be sent packing: Those who would export our jobs, leave our borders unfenced, and abdicate their responsibilities to preserve sound money, are welcome to leave.
So give it some thought this weekend. Which side will you choose? Soft and Easy but totally Ruled, or Hard and Thrifty - yet FREE?
Let me know your thoughts. It might make an interesting Monday article if anyone responds. Send comments to george@....
I'll leave you with three quotes that may help your deliberations on this momentous moment, which will surely pass unmarked by MainStreamMedia:
Winston Churchill's "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat."
Karl Marx's "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."
And the most prescient of all: The Walt Kelly Cartoon character Pogo:
"We have met the enemy and he is us."
There is no other story this weekend that even comes close to the magnitude of this one.
