La Canada Flintridge

PHOTO'S (see #6)

Dietrich said he had never seen a fire grow so quickly without powerful Santa Ana winds to push it.

More than 31 square miles of dry forest has been scorched by the fire, which continued to move out in all directions. Quintelier said the most active flanks are to the north, deeper into the forest, and east. The blaze was only 5 percent contained.

A major goal was to keep the fire from spreading up Mount Wilson, where many of the region's broadcast and communications antennas and the historic Mount Wilson Observatory are located, officials said.
_____________
After reading all the talkbacks it is no surprise that the majority are unable to grasp the fact that these fires and economic downfall have nothing to do with a non existent 'mother nature' but a Creator whose patience and mercy has run out.

This is only the beginning.
When California is hit by a major destructive earthquake the lost,blind,and cursed will again call out to their 'mother nature'completly ignoring the truth that God is angry with the wicked every day.
Because they have no fear of God they are doomed.
The wicked are always the last to see the handwriting on the wall.
By then it is too late.

The LORD is in His holy temple,The LORD’s throne is in heaven; His eyes
behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.The LORD tests the righteous,But the
wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

Upon the wicked He will
rain coals;Fire and brimstone and a burning wind Shall be the portion of their
cup.
For the LORD is righteous,He loves righteousness; His countenance
beholds the upright.
Psalm 11

  1. As I was driving up the freeway last night and seeing this blazing out-of-control fire above LaCanada (5 minutes from my house), I thought how interesting it is here that again, the land where 2 of most prestigous and expensive homes are in all of southern california (Palos Verdes being the other) are being taken out and destroyed. Then I thought, if I never return to my house and if it burn to the ground Lord, I've lost absolutely nothing! Even more astounding is when speaking to random people about their soul, there is no repentance, no sorrow of what is to come -- they nearly laugh as if it's crazy for me to think such thoughts that this is the Lord's doing -- as in the days of Noah. I fear for these ones.

    "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

    8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

    9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

    10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

    11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward

  2. For most it is past time repentance,the door is shut,they heardened their hearts one too many times when Jesus warned them again and again.

    Without the fear of God they are doomed and it is the pukewarm church with their Santa Claus god which has removed this fear of God from the people.
    They don't belive that the Chrisitan God of love is also the God of righteousness and justice who will require an accounting now and later.

    Justice is crying out loudly here in perverse land.

    The Lord gave me Jeremiah 50 today and I sense that this is now close to fulfillment.

    The word that the LORD spoke against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.
    2 “ Declare among the nations,
    Proclaim, and set up a standard;
    Proclaim—do not conceal it—
    Say, ‘Babylon is taken, Bel is shamed.
    Merodach is broken in pieces;
    Her idols are humiliated,
    Her images are broken in pieces.’
    3 For out of the north a nation comes up against her,
    Which shall make her land desolate,
    And no one shall dwell therein.
    They shall move, they shall depart,
    Both man and beast.
    4 “ In those days and in that time,” says the LORD,
    All you who bend the bow;
    Shoot at her, spare no arrows,
    For she has sinned against the LORD.
    15 Shout against her all around;
    She has given her hand,
    Her foundations have fallen,
    Her walls are thrown down;
    For it is the vengeance of the LORD.
    Take vengeance on her.
    As she has done, so do to her.
    16 Cut off the sower from Babylon,
    And him who handles the sickle at harvest time.
    For fear of the oppressing sword
    Everyone shall turn to his own people,
    And everyone shall flee to his own land.

    24 I have laid a snare for you;
    You have indeed been trapped, O Babylon,
    And you were not aware;
    You have been found and also caught,
    Because you have contended against the LORD.
    25 The LORD has opened His armory,
    And has brought out the weapons of His indignation;
    For this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts
    In the land of the Chaldeans.
    26 Come against her from the farthest border;
    Open her storehouses;
    Cast her up as heaps of ruins,
    And destroy her utterly;
    Let nothing of her be left.
    27 Slay all her bulls,
    Let them go down to the slaughter.
    Woe to them!
    For their day has come, the time of their punishment.
    28 The voice of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon
    Declares in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God,
    The vengeance of His temple.
    29 “ Call together the archers against Babylon.
    All you who bend the bow, encamp against it all around;
    Let none of them escape.
    Repay her according to her work;
    According to all she has done, do to her;
    For she has been proud against the LORD,
    Against the Holy One of Israel.
    30 Therefore her young men shall fall in the streets,
    And all her men of war shall be cut off in that day,” says the LORD.
    31 “ Behold, I am against you,
    O most haughty one!” says the Lord GOD of hosts;
    “ For your day has come,
    The time that I will punish you.
    32 The most proud shall stumble and fall,
    And no one will raise him up;
    I will kindle a fire in his cities,
    And it will devour all around him.”
