The Arab Reaction And What It Means

part II

Why the Oslo process is so important
_____________________________________
In WWII, many Jews were killed where they lived, or else they died fighting the Nazis as members of the various resistance movements.
But a great many Jews were first concentrated and controlled, and only then murdered. In order to weaken Jewish resistance to the process of concentration, the Nazi technicians promised the Jews that, though they would be partially enslaved, they would not be killed, and they appointed as leaders individual Jews who argued that the way to avoid the worst was to cooperate with Nazi demands.
Little by little, the Jews were concentrated further and further, as liberties were progressively taken away, and finally they found themselves boarding trains to what they were told would be work camps -- the final stage in the process of concentration. Auschwitz survivor Shie [Shee-yeh] Guilbert, whom I have been interviewing for my work, and who will soon be publishing a book about his experiences, tells me that once on the train it was impossible to deny the truth, because the overcrowded and unventilated conditions were so appalling that they drove some ‘passengers’ mad.
The weakest died en route. The reason the conditions in the train were so appalling is that, once in the train, it no longer matter whether the Jews understood what was going to happen to them.
A similar process is at work today.
The space in which the Israeli Jews live is being reduced further and further -- they are literally being concentrated. As in World War II, in order to weaken the resistance of the Jews to the process of concentration, they are being told that they will avoid the worst: they will not be exterminated. But in order to get that, it is explained to the Jews, they will have to cooperate with this ‘peace’ process in which they will make more and more concessions to people who, in fact, say that they wish to exterminate the Jews.
As in World War II, Jewish leaders answer to those who wish to destroy the Jewish people, and so they argue forcefully to ordinary Jews that the way to achieve peace is to cooperate with the antisemites. Little by little, the Jews are being cleansed from strategic territory indispensable to the security of Israel, and they are being concentrated further and further, even as their corrupt government restricts their liberty to protest that the Jewish state is being given to the Nazis.[12]
In other words, the Oslo ‘peace’ process is the German Nazi strategy of concentration as a prelude to genocide, but done at the state level:
implode the borders of Israel, and you turn it into one great concentration camp, then into a death camp. For this to work, the Jews must be either duped or neutralized until after the point when resistance becomes futile. Should the Jews begin resisting earlier, the whole process might be spoiled.
This is delicate.
The Gaza Disengagement proceeded well for the technicians. In the north, Hezbollah was quickly being armed to the teeth. Gaza was already entirely in the hands of the terrorists, and Egypt was in control of the Gaza-Egypt border.[13]
If only the rabid genocidal dogs could be restrained a little longer… -- they were almost there. But, careful. The dogs, smelling an easy prey, might fail to control themselves, making a lot of trouble, for they might scare the Israelis a bit too much, forcing the Israeli government to retaliate. And then all those carefully laid plans might go up in smoke.
This sort of thing is always a danger for two main reasons. First, the rank and file of organizations such as Hamas, the PLO, and Hezbollah is composed of people who really, truly thirst to bathe their own selves in Jewish blood and are hard to restrain.
And second, because the officer class of the Israeli military is composed of people with all kinds of opinions, and many of them are patriots who will not go along with just any suicidal policy, even if the top echelons are pushing for it.
Therefore, because the Israeli government will want to avoid a revolt in its military officer class, the crazy people at the bottom of genocidal organizations can force the Israeli government into retaliating even when the top layer of the Israeli leadership has been corrupted.
And this sort of thing has been a concern before. As discussed in the previous piece, in 1996 there was a big flare up with Hezbollah on the Lebanese border, and the US rushed to protect Hezbollah from the Israelis, eventually producing a cease-fire agreement that allowed Hezbollah to keep firing at the Israelis, and prevented the Israelis from crossing into Lebanon.[14] The reason the US rushed so quickly to produce this agreement is that many in the Israeli officer class wanted to go in and severely reduce Hezbollah. That would have been a huge setback to the preparations for genocide.
A 1996 article by the Irish Times, in the thick of things, narrated events like this:
"The United States was asked yesterday to intervene again to defuse mounting conflict between Israel and Hizbullah militants in southern Lebanon. The guerrilla movement fired some 20 Katyusha rockets on settlements in northern Israel late Saturday night and early yesterday."[15]
Notice that though Hezbollah is publicly dedicated to the destruction of Israel via genocide, and though it had launched rockets on civilian settlements, the Irish Times did not call Hezbollah a terrorist movement but a "guerilla movement."
The Irish Times explained:
"In Israel there is growing dissatisfaction among senior army officers, who argue that the government’s policy of restraint has been interpreted by the Hizbullah as a sign of weakness, and that a major reprisal raid is needed to stem the attacks."
The interpretation of the dissatisfied senior army officers of course made sense.
A genocidal enemy does not attack less when you make concessions, because the genocidal enemy’s entire political goal is, precisely, your total destruction!
The next sentence in the Irish Times piece is revealing:
"But Mr Peres, so far, has preferred the diplomatic route, counting on the Americans to pressurise the Syrians into curbing Hizbullah activity."
So when US officials rushed to produce the Orwellian ‘ceasefire’ agreement that explicitly allowed Hezbollah to go on firing at Israel, this was to protect Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres, who otherwise might have been forced by the dissatisfied senior Israeli officers to go after Hezbollah. This is something that Shimon Peres naturally did not want to do (go after Hezbollah), because Peres is the famous great architect of the Oslo process, the effort to bring the PLO -- an organization tracing its roots to Adolf Hitler’s Final Solution, and chartered to see it through[16] -- into the Jewish state. Moreover, Peres has pushed repeatedly for giving always more power to the PLO.
The current prime minister, Ehud Olmert, is cut from the Peres cloth, and as soon as he became Prime Minister the most urgent job of his administration became the cleansing of the Jews of the West Bank.
If he waited at all, the growing violence in Post-Disengagement Gaza might act as an argument, in the minds of Israelis, against further cleansing of patriotic Jews from strategic ground subsequently yielded to antisemitic terrorists. That might begin to seem like a bad idea. So there was a short window of opportunity.
But the deranged mob of Hamas and Hezbollah, it seems, got too crazy too fast, naturally because they sense the weakness in a Jewish state that rushes headlong to commit suicide (this is the inherent instability in the strategy:
it tends to produce overconfidence in the overeager hounds of death). So the antisemites got too violent in the south, too quickly, and then also in the north, and what happened is that the Israeli officers who wanted to do something about all this naturally got the upper hand, forcing even Ehud Olmert’s administration to move against Hezbollah.
All those carefully laid plans…
So what the United States is doing with its hurried proposal for a NATO intervention is, once again, rushing in to save Hezbollah.[17] And Oslo.
Because if this violence is not quickly stopped, ordinary Israelis may get too scared, and then they will cease all cooperation with the Oslo extermination process and take their government back into their own hands.
This is delicate!
Now, look again at these two newspaper quotes (from above) concerning the Arab reaction to Hezbollah’s attack, and pay close attention to what the Arab elites are saying to Hezbollah.
"State-backed newspapers in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt have reiterated the government line that Hezbollah is guilty of ‘a miscalculation.’"[18]
"Saudi Arabia, with Jordan, Egypt and several Persian Gulf states, chastised Hezbollah for ‘unexpected, inappropriate and irresponsible acts’ at an emergency Arab League summit meeting in Cairo on Saturday."[19]
Does it give you a chill?

A prediction
____________
Hamas and Hezbollah will be thoroughly demonized, but neither organization will be destroyed and if there is a NATO intervention it will protect Hezbollah, and the Hezbollification of Lebanon.
The PLO will burnish its image as the ‘partner for peace’ by being on its ‘best’ behavior during this crisis, and if the Oslo process can be revived it will be, with the PLO but without Hamas (at least formally).
Get ready...for the rebirth of the PLO.
