A few weeks ago San Francisco had their annual sexual perversion parade with the blessing and protection of the City and the State of California,but God, His truth and His laws are forbidden,illegal.
How shall a wicked nation as this not burn to the ground ?
Homosexual sex and nudity and other perversions were OPENLY ENGAGED IN ON THE STREETS EVEN IN FRONT OF CHURCHES AND CHILDREN PRESENT.
After seeing the picture from a ministry warning of this evil I knew we have surpassed Sodom and Gomorrah and that God would respond.
Today a quarter of a milion people from the San Diego area have been evacuated from their homes and this is just in San Diego.
We have the Malibu fire,the Slide fire,the Grass fire ,the Witch fire and more popping up by the minute,hour and day.
Big Bear,Lake Arrowhead,Malibu,Escondido,San Diego,Rancho Bernardo,Poway,Forrest Ranch,Lake Hodge,Ramona,Lakeside are some of the communities where hundreds if not thousands have lost their homes to fire.
This will devestate insurance companies and the state's ability to aid so many.
This will go down as the most destructive fire in U.S. history in the cost to the economy and the fires have only begun.
Are possible major earthquake's next for California?
Fire and brimstone are what God rained down on Sodom and Gomorrah because of their open and bold perversion against God.
We are seeeing the beginning of God's judgment on the open perversion and wickedness in America .
Remember ,it is just the beginning and the innocent suffer along with the wicked.
Our leaders blessing of this evil will cost them and the nation a debt they will never be able to cover.

In my personal reading, I just finished Isaiah last night. In the last chapter alone:
Isa 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
I could not help but think of the stand that the Governator took a few days ago regarding school policy, banning the terms "Mommy" and "Daddy", etc. It seems a small portion of the fire of Sodom and Gomorrah may indeed be visiting his state!

When God judged Sodom and Gomorrah, He judged Sodom and Gomorrah, not China and Britain.
I don't think the fires have anything to do with gays, since very few of the people struck were gay. God is not in the habit of judging the innocent for the crimes of the guilty. Life is just fine is SanFran. Beautiful city, no fires reported.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but if we keep harping on gays as the cause for everything, we'll never truly understand what is going on. God is not obsessed with the sexual perversions of the unsaved.
When God judged Sodom, the Law wasn't even in place yet. And there was far more going on than homosexuality. They were also murderers and robbers and brutal men. God judged them because there were no righteous men there that He should spare them.
That said, as we speak, a little girl is probably being raped, men are cheating on their wives, and I'm sure more than one person is buying a hooker or watching porno.

No, God is not that small. MEN are. MEN think it's all about works and not about holiness. If every gay went straight tomorrow, would they be saved as a result? Which comes first, salvation or straightness?
If a gay man raped a 10 year old girl, is he off the hook because it was straight sex for a change?
Think about it. God could care less what gays do, because they are UNSAVED. If they go straight, they are still UNSAVED.
Show me ONE verse where God promises eternal life to any man who simply "goes straight". I'll wait.
However, I think it has a LOT to do with the upcoming conference to divide Jerusalem.
Why, at this late stage, do we miss the obvious and focus on the petty? If God wanted to judge gays, He can send a new AIDS plague like THAT. He doesn't need to destroy the homes of straight people and their children.
We simply make God out to be vindictive and a petty pervert when we say things like this. Sin doesn't begin and end with sexual orientation. Sin is a STATE, not an action.

God's judgment does not center on America, it just starts there. And the reason is laid out in Jer 50/51, and gays are NOT mentioned.
Nor does it focus only on gays. Gays seem to be completely untouched by what is happening, and that is by design, so we know it has NOTHING to do with them. God is not concerned with unsaved sexual habits.
The CHURCH has chosen to make it an issue, as though there's been NO homosexuality since Sodom and it was just invented here a few years ago. There were no gays in Rome? None in Ancient Greece? No gays anywhere on the planet until America 20th century?

You're missing what is really at stake by jumping on this bandwagon. Sin does not begin and end with sex. The first sin was NOT a sexual act, if you recall your Gen 3. If we were out BEING SALT AND LIGHT and dealing with real issues we wouldn't have time to obsess over gays.

The judgment began on Sept 11, which was the catalyst event for the Iraq war and other things. George Bush is part of that judgment. God has long history of raising up evil leaders to judge a nation: Pharoah of Egypt, Jeroboam and Rehoboam in Israel, The Caesars of Rome, etc.
It has NOTHING to do with gays, marcel, and whether you disagree changes nothing. I do not see Providence, R. I. on fire, do you? Or did you not know that is 'gay central' on the East Coast? Place is doing fine, last I checked.

I understand both of your points. I think that it is important for us to remember that the judgment of the Creator will come upon all men. No man will be able to stand…and those few who survive must be under His protection (Is. 26) because of obedience to His ways (Jer. 7, esp. vs. 23) with a humble and contrite spirit (Micah 6, Ps. 51). Of course, we are not saved by our works, but true salvation through grace brings obedience (Eph. 2:8-13, esp. vs. 10).
This is the real root of the problem. From the beginning of time, the One True God (the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) has made Himself and His ways known. Man (including most of us today, “Christian” or otherwise) has continued to reject Him through disobedience. The “law” (torah) was known before it was written down through Moses. Abraham was obedient to it (Gen. 26:5). Cain and Abel knew to bring sacrifices without it being written down. Cain’s problem was with the condition of his heart, not with the sacrifice that was brought (grain and first fruit offerings are acceptable and required later in the written instruction of Leviticus).
The problem with Cain is the same problem with man today…living in disobedience. The “church” has created a fake system of “salvation”. The god they serve is a torahless (lawless) “Jesus”, not the real torah-obedient, perfect servant who always pointed His disciples back to the Father and His ways. The real Jesus did not change one single command of the Father. He could not, or He was not the real Messiah (Deut. 18). The “church” at large thinks that they can say a little prayer and be done with it. No true life-change is required. This is why we are where we are.
Judgment has come and more will come. All sinners will be judged: homosexual, adulterers, rapists, liars…all who are disobedient, who do not love the truth. The “church” is included, because most in it do not love the truth and turn from their wickedness.
The Creator brings the calamity (Is. 45:5-7). Sometimes, His fire is from His Hand alone (Sodom and Gomorrah). Sometimes, he uses an “arsonist” (Jer. 52:12-13). But, the bottom line is that He brings it. He drove the Canaanite out of the land because of their wickedness, and he later drove His people out because of their wickedness. His right-ruling continues today because of our wickedness…”sinners” or the “un-saved” and those who think they are “saved”, but continue to live in disobedience. Those who are truly saved will return to Him and His ways, recognizing the falsehood of our fathers (Jer. 16:14-21, esp. vs. 19).
