God Rules in the Affairs of Man

(America) Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD,
Intoxicating all the earth
The nations have drunk of her wine;
Therefore the nations are mad.
Suddenly (America)Babylon has fallen and been broken;
Wail over her!.....
The LORD has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes,
Because His purpose is against Babylon to destroy it;
For it is the vengeance of the LORD, vengeance for His temple
Jeremiah 51

In His hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.


Behold, He tears down, and it cannot be built again; He shuts a man in, and none can open.With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
He leads princes away spoiled, and overthrows the mighty.
He pours contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty
He increases the nations, and destroys them: he enlarges the nations, and shrinks them again.
He takes away understanding from the leaders of the people of the land and of the earth, and causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no path.
They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them to stagger and wander like a drunken man.'
