Competing Visions of Never Again-Caroline Glick

my response ;
The first 'Never Again group failed because they relied on their own effort and not God.
The second 'Never Again' group failed because they did not heed God's warning on the condition of mans heart and were seduced, trusting in desperately wicked con men in positions of power for peace instead of looking to God.

 “ The heart is deceitful above all things,
      And desperately wicked;
      Who can know it?
        I, the LORD, search the heart,
      I test the mind,
      Even to give every man according to his ways,
      According to the fruit of his doings." Jeremiah 17

All I hear from Israeli leaders is begging the world not to accept Hamas and Fatah uniting instead of doing something themselves.
Groveling and attempting to appease the amoral,heartless nations and submitting to suicidal requests is not Zionism.
Rewarding the children of Amalek while throwing fellow Jews out of their homes and off their God given land is not Zionism.
Frozen in his tracks Netanyahu relies on the same nation's that did nothing for the Jews in their most desperate hour to do something.
This is something other than Zionism and it is extremely dangerous for Israel.
Only the Holy One of Israel can turn the tide because the Zionists are in extremely critical condition.

Dave's comment on Caroline's article ;
This a great article and fits well with your previous article ("Netanyahu's time to choose").
It is also timely.
As I listened to Obama's speech that announced the killing of Bin Laden, I was struck by how Obama's speech (sans a few Obamaisms) should be what our leaders in Israel should be saying.In a nutshell, a simple assertion that the US was attacked and took it upon themselves to find the perpetrators (and will continue to find them).
No apologies, no qualifications. None were needed as it's understood that any rational person or nation would do the same.
Had the target been Nasrallah and the attackers been our Israeli commandos, the predictable outcome would have been world condemnation.
Such condemnation is reason our pathetic leaders here in Israel give us each time they fail to protect us, each time they give away something for nothing in return, each time they fail to do what should be done.
Concerns about the "international community" are bogus; they are an incomprehensible shackle that our leaders have, bizarrely, placed upon themselves.
Everyone seems to get the joke except for them.

What do you expect ?
You elect hypocrite politicians,liars who only concern is massaging their large ego's and being an accepted player and part of the old boy's global network ?
Their strength is in themselves and that is why they are so weak,lost and feeble.
If they truly trusted in God they would act like Melek David did when he was only a young boy.
They don't believe God or His word or His calling for Israel.
They don't believe they are blessed or that God gave them the land.
They believe the god of the surrounding nations is greater than the Holy One of Israel and this is great evil and sin in the camp of Israel...but they have great faith in big liars in nice suits with nice toys,in devious backstabbers and corrupt men.
They are guilty of the same evil as the ten feeble spies while the Joshua's and Calev's are abused and tormented by them to please their false Road Map gods.
And now you are surprised that they reveal themselves to be fearful cowards who will not act but cry out to their false gods in nice suits to save them ?

"So Balaam said to God, “Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying,  ‘Look, a people has come out of Egypt, and they cover the face of the earth. Come now, curse them for me; perhaps I shall be able to overpower them and drive them out.’”
And God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.”
‘ Come, curse Jacob for me,And come, denounce Israel!’
“How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced?
For from the top of the rocks I see him,And from the hills I behold him;
 There! A people dwelling alone,Not reckoning itself among the nations.

Numbers 22 - 23
