Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly."
Job 1
There is a heavy price to pay which the reprobate souls do not "yet" understand.
Because we have removed the LORD Jesus Christ ,a dark and evil curse increasingly fills the void.
The wicked who are under the spell of Satan and under God's wrath won't realize it until they are united with their master in eternal hell.
All the wasted time and toil of farmers and laborers in the deep south planting their spring crops only to see them perish in an instant.
And then we have those in the Midwest who are under the curse of severe drought and ensuing hell fires that now scorch the country from coast to coast on a regular basis.
Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the peoples labor to feed the fire.
And nations weary themselves in vain?
Habakkuk 2
In my locality the beautiful flowering azalea's and the growing little peaches have all been taken away by the freeze after early spring like weather.
The God who gives is the same one who takes away.He gives us a view of much worse that is coming with the droughts,fires,famines,coming major hailstorms and plagues of locusts and diseases. But rebellious,stubborn man in his pride will continue to deny the hand of God until his last breath. That is the evil nature of the wicked heart that guides men to their destruction apart from the intervention of a Holy God who alone can remove the scales of pride and evil that blind us to the truth.
Though the fig tree may not blossom,nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,and the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,and there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The Lord God is my strength;He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
Habakkuk 3
