The Russians seem to have a better memory than our busy Western leaders who have many,many iron's in the fire.
Russia was not happy with this and once Soviet Georgia may very well be a test case of Russian military resurgence as Vlad Putin sends more 'peace keeping' troops to the breakaway republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

BRUSSELS, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - Georgia's leadership is pushing the nation toward a potentially disastrous war over the breakaway Georgian republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the Russian envoy to NATO said on Wednesday.
"One gets the impression that [President Mikheil] Saakashvili and [acting Foreign Minister David] Bakradze are not fully aware of what they are pushing their people toward - they are pushing them into a war in which they will again suffer a defeat," Dmitry Rogozin said.
Abkhazia and South Ossetia broke away from Georgia in the early 1990s following the collapse of the Soviet Union. Between 10,000 and 30,000 people were killed in the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict and some 3,000 in South Ossetian-Georgian hostilities. Georgia is looking to regain control over the two republics.
Russia's envoy to NATO was commenting on a statement by Bakradze that Russia's plans to increase the number of its peacekeepers in Abkhazia and South Ossetia marked the beginning of "full-scale military aggression."
"The situation is developing according to the worst of all possible scenarios. This is a fact. And it is happening due to an extremely irresponsible and jingoistic rhetoric on the part of Tbilisi," Rogozin said.

The photograph of our ships sailing off into the great unknown is disheartening from a Believers point of view. We are trying to spread a religion of democracy when the nail upon which we have put all of our foreign policy actions is falling from the wall.
Democracy is unworkable for a nation that has forgotten God. It cannot work. The forces of Islam which we are appeasing at Israel's expense know the day of our destruction. There is no more sand in the hour glass. It is time to draw close to God so He will draw close to us.
Those who do not know Him, nor His ways, are doomed.
My heart goes out to the men and women on these vessels of doom that sail to certain destruction if we attack Iran; and someone will. I feel without a doubt in my very soul of souls that this is the year of recompense. We have touched the apple of His eye and this just will not be tolerated. It cannot be tolerated! God is not God if He allows this. We must give Him no rest until He makes Jerusalem a place of peace and righteousness.
I pray for those with a heart for Him that they understand what is happening; and that they run to Him for refuge, and expect it from no where else. There is no where else to go!
