Just as Israel's religious leaders missed the arrival of their Messiah,I'm convinced that 'Christian Leaders' (and most Christian's who blindly follow them) will miss many of the fullfilments of end time prophecy,especially this one from the prophet Daniel.
Could it be that the covenant with many is being birthed now by Babylon USA ?

Condoleezza Rice sells Israeli PM Ehud Olmert her Middle East initiative - The halt of Jewish immigration to Israel is one of two key Arab pre-conditions for engaging the Jewish state in peace talks.

Arab sources reveal that the two conditions will be incorporated in the final resolutions approved by the Arab League summit in Riyadh on Thursday.
1. Israel must halt Jewish immigration so that the Israelis leaving the country or revoking their citizenship are not replaced by newcomers.
2. The international community must condemn Israel's High Court of Justice for authorizing targeted assassination of Palestinians in cases of security threats. Arab justice ministers will lobby international judicial bodies to elicit this condemnation.

I wouldn't worry too much over Israel. God has them in His palm, though it will seem, by SIGHT, that they are on the way out.

We are WAY overdue for a major earthquake on the West Coast, as well as the New Madrid Fault. They been warning for years that Yellowstone could blow. Mt St Helens has been active of late. I need not mention freak tornadoes almost regularly now.
It would not surprise me if God let this thing go only so far, and then turned the key on all those hot zones at once. No way to call it 'coincidence.'
What is especially insulting to Him is His own people, the so-calld 'church', stood by and supported everything this Admin did, led by their money- and power-hungry Pharisee leaders who set themselves over God's flock. Then they will scream and cry for God to help them when the house of cards starts to tumble, and He will not hear. Cuz they would not hear Him, or hear those who warned them. They threw stones and insults and took their marching orders from Fox News, instead of from the Bible.
Our treatment of Israel will be the trigger for massive judgment. Even as we say so, there are those who will run to their preachers and be told not to worry. Maybe the preachers will protect them then. We will see.
