History is always repeating itself and we can see the devil at it again while the 10 virgins are all asleep.
It's interesting that the biblical record of those not bowing to Nebuchadnezzar's image mentions only three individuals faithful to God ,Shadrach,Mesach and Abednego.
There had to be more ?
The always small remnant like the 2 spies,Joshua and Caleb who believed God and stood unbending as the majority without faith 10 spies saw themselves as grasshoppers compared to the giants they saw in the land of God's promise, flowing with milk and honey.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

This time the test will be to take a mark on the right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell.
All who do will be damned,no second chance no more hope.
Already there are false teachers and false prophets who are saying it will be ok to take the mark because it could not be 'the mark' since the rapture has not yet occured.
The majority of believers are not ready for this life and death test ,having been deceived by the hired shepherds and false prophets of our day.
Will you bow under the threat to your life ?

The more I look and listen the more I see America has been transformed into a state where God has been removed,overthrown if you like, and replace with the state now playing God.
The one thing that troubles me most are the supposed 'Christians' who worship this emerging Beast while giving lip service to God. they love their fantasy and dare not speak or see the truth.
They love the lie more than the truth. 2 Thess 2:11-12
They twist scripture and make excuses for their Satan led and inspired new Lord.
I don't believe we should go to war against this demonic beast rising, wrapped in a flag and patriotism but we should stop the lies and delusion and speak the truth of how God has been replaced by the 'lawless' Fortress America which has rejected God's laws and made their own perverted laws,putting themselves above God.
And the Church plays the loyal whore more concerned about their tax exempt status than the Kingdom of God.

It bothers me to hear over and over at church. "Thankful for our freedom we have in this country" "Thankful for our freedom to worship God in this country many around the world do not have the freedom that we enjoy" Its hard to explain why it bothers me. Maybe I am simply not as thankful as some others.

I rather think the quote above puts it in perspective.

I was standing with someone protesting state approved Murder outside an American killing center. He made the comment that he was thankful that we still have the freedom of speech to be able to protest. I was a little uncomfortable again but still couldn't explain why.

If a human is being Murdered with the state's blessing. If he or she is Murdered with parental or judicial consent with allowance of many Christians a few feet from where I stand. Why should I be thankful to a state for allowing me to cry out against it. If it was your teenage daughter or wife and the sheriff drove by without caring? Would you still celebrate the freedom of speech granted by the state?

Maybe since many willingly send their children to Iraq to kill and be killed. Theoretically you wouldn't have to be that much more drugged to put up with the killing of your children in your own city.

I kind of like the preacher that got arrested in this video. He says "I'm thankful for the freedoms in our country to be able to proclaim the word of God" He changed the wording a little as he got arrested. He said "our freedoms are being taken away.
