Arabs confident Obama will birth 'Palestine'
A senior Palestinian Authority official on Thursday said the regime of US-backed Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas is pulling for Democratic candidate Barack Obama to win the upcoming US presidential election.

I am fearful to use any passages of Scripture that speak of love, peace, forgiveness, mercy, compassion or any of the other important attributes of our Heavenly Father because I do not want to constantly be berated.

What are the characteristics of those who are in His kingdom? We should be working toward these:

God is love. His mercies and compassions are renewed at the dawning of each day. I agree whole heartedly with you that the day is fast approaching when God may hide His face for a season; great darkness will cover the USA and the world and severe judgment is coming soon.
My heart breaks at the thought of those who have been playing church when they finally realize, when it is possibly too late, that eternity is here and they cannot change their destination!

God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

You will notice that in Scripture they always
corrected large-scale public deception IN PUBLIC. Sometimes
Paul would even name names in public - or issue public rebukes.
If there was a private offense or a personal issue between brothers -
that was different. If at all possible, you deal with personal offense
privately. (Matt 18). But when there is large-scale deception that is
spreading, you have to speak out boldly, publicly and strongly -
because the health of the entire body is at stake. This is clearly
what we see in Scripture. And "lovey-dovey-ness" was out the
window! Paul and the apostles and Jesus Himself were very strong
in publicly rebuking these kinds of people and their practices -
whether they were believers or not. They did it for the health of the
whole Body.
It sounds so loving and "tolerant" to
speak of unity and say things like 'Can't we all just get along?"
But this is not true biblical unity - which is based on TRUTH.
The fact is, Jesus said, "I have come not to bring peace but a
sword." There is sometimes a division or separating that occurs
over major issues which is unavoidable - and in fact can be totally
necessary. There are some things that God does not WANT
connected with His body! A separation is not always bad. It
happened with Jesus all the time. He came to bring a "sword"
after all - and He promised that such things would happen.

If I were a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, I would speak of Yeshua, as I do here, and at work, and at home. Belonging to some social affiliations is not a crime in the eyes of God. When the Apostle's went to foreign lands they were familiar with what people of those nations believed, thus, they knew how to preach and reason with them.
The SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER is based in Alabama and one of their major activities is to represent blacks, hispanics, and others who have been discriminated against in employment or in other areas of society. The represented a black man who was beaten and dragged behind a pickup in Texas and left for dead. They have successfully represented Hispanic and other minority employees who work for companies who do not even pay minimum wage, and have not paid any wages at all sometimes! They have been successful in their efforts.
