Russia closed the Cuban airbase in question a few years back because the lease was to expensive for them. Russia is not stupid. while they may act upset over the 10 ABM's we will be stationing in Poland. They know there is HUGE difference between defensive none nuclear Missiles in Poland and basing offensive bombers with nuclear weapons in Cuba. And it actually is not the 10 interceptor missiles they are the most concerned about. what most in the media do not report on is it is the state of the art radar system that could blanket and track most of Russia that they are truly upset about.
