9th of Av

Today is the 9th of Av. Most are astonished at the great tragedies of
history which all happened on this particular day, the 9th of Av. It
is the fast of the fifth month, as Zechariah calls it. The fifth
month of Av began in 2008, on August 2. If you are not familiar with
the 9th of Av and all that has happened through history on this date,

We recall that not only were the first and second Temples destroyed
on the 9th of Av, but also the first and second World Wars began on
that date. We do know that many temples were destroyed in those wars,
and that 2 Billion people will be destroyed in this Third World War,
now ready to explode.
