A senior Chinese official has warned that the "clock is ticking" to avoid a US default that could hurt China's interests and the global economy.
Washington must agree a deal to raise its borrowing limit by 17 October, or risk being unable to pay its bills.
It's nice to know the Chinese are looking out for US interests when Washington is not and in fact bringing it all down,lol.

Too bad I learned French, Mandarin Chinese might come in a bit more useful....just saying.
I don't think learning Chinese is going to help much when the ICBM's are coming down over your head ...just saying.
