If I were the leader of a country like Syria watching the deliberations in Washington on the use of force to severely harm me and my country what would I do ?
Not so dumb Assad, being subjected to a planned attack by a 'bully' empire that has too much meddling on it's plate, wouldn't he STRIKE FIRST AND STRIKE HARD along with his allies like Iran and Hezbollah with many smart weapons and too many missiles and God only knows what other tricks up their sleeves.
This Obama and his slow to strike, heads up to Assad is a recipe for a major preemptive strike and major US military defeat.
Don't underestimate Russia's allies to outfox the checkers player in the White House.
The 'waiting for approval' game puts our naval forces and many military bases in the neighborhood at risk, not to mention Israel, before they even get the order to fire the first shot...could this be what Obama wants or is he Captain Fool at the helm of the USS Titanic?
Obama Wins bipartisan support for Syria strike
President Barack Obama’s call for a military strike in Syria won significant momentum Tuesday, with leaders of both parties in Congress announcing they are convinced that Syrian President Bashar Assad used chemical weapons against his own people and that the United States should respond.Republican House Speaker John Boehner emerged from a White House meeting and told reporters: “This is something that the United States, as a country, needs to do. I’m going to support the president’s call for action. I believe that my colleagues should support this call for action.”
